Oh this argument is just a meme and I’m here to enjoy that. But also KDE > Gnome, no question.
Gnome is the reason it took me so long to like Linux for daily driving, because it was the default DE on the distros I was trying. Thank goodness for Fedora+KDE Plasma. If someone else likes it, good for them - I like that they are using Linux.

1·5 months agoTigerVNC was a pain to set up on Fedora 43. Seems to be a documentation drift issue with online docs. Lesson learned rely on local doc.
ProtonVPN does not play nicely with my KVM network bridge interface. I have to down it in order to connect, and then when I up the network bridge again afterwards the VM doesnt seem to use it until a restart occurs.
I need to figure out how automatically to pull the port forwarded in my ProtonVPN session and have it update firewalld and qbittorrentd respectively


I bought an old QNAP 869 Pro and filled it full of 6TB drives, also old.
I’ll start rotating the drives out one-by one over the rest of the year.
